So who got left out?

  • Water for Elephants: Perfect movie. Beautifully shot, well acted and a great adaptation. Two Flaws: Robert Pattison (the judges view him as a boytoy) and the time it came out.
  • "Beginners": Christopher Plummer got a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Should have been one for the writer and director.
  • "The Muppets": Yes.. Jason Siegel and Co. should have gotten some recognition for their work. Considering everything about that movie was original from the music to the story. This is the screw-over of the year. This is why there is a musical/comedy category. There is no other musical that comes to mind that was released this year. This should have received one nod for an original song.
